Professional guidance
During the business plan competition you will be guided in turning your idea in a robust business plan, preparing you for the start of your business. All the following types of guidance are available at no additional cost.
Personal feedback
At the end of each round your plan will be reviewed by investors, entrepreneurs and consultants. This feedback can be used to optimize your business plan. See Round 3: Business plan, for an explanation of the evaluation of the jury.
Coaching
From the second round New Venture offers one-on-one coaching and advice from experienced managers and consultants working for top companies. A New Venture coach plays the roles of soundboard and handbook. A coach helps you with practical problems and can assist in building a good network. Coaches are only allocated to people who participate in the contest and actually intend to start a business.
Specialised consulting
New Venture consultants provide specialist response to questions from participants. Think of questions on legal, fiscal or technical issues. Use their extensive expertise, which usually can be costly. To make your business plan as good as possible, you can apply for multiple consults.
Seminars
During the year New Venture organizes five seminars which address various aspects of the business. You will meet interesting speakers at these meetings and follow interactive workshops. The meetings of New Venture offer alongside this extensive knowledge the opportunity to build your own professional network.
